Using Postcarto
Postcarto helps you turn travel photos into postcards, save them on your world and share them. These terms apply to your use of the service. By creating an account or using its creation and sharing features, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use those features.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. The operator can be reached through the contact details on that page.
Your account
Use an email address or Google account you control. Keep access to your account secure and do not share sign-in links. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access.
Choose a username that does not impersonate another person or infringe their rights. Your username is visible on public postcards; your email is not your public author name.
Your photos and content
You keep the rights you hold in your photos and writing. Upload only content you own or have permission to use, including permission needed for recognizable people, private places and protected works.
You give Postcarto a non-exclusive permission to store, process, reproduce and display your content as needed to provide the features you request. This includes using service providers for AI processing and making content available according to your sharing choices. It does not transfer ownership of your original photo to us.
This permission lasts as needed to operate those features, subject to your deletion and withdrawal rights and the limited retention described in the Privacy policy. Posting your work on Postcarto’s social accounts requires the separate permission described below.
AI suggestions and artwork
AI can change details, misidentify places or produce inaccurate text. Review the location, artwork and words before saving, publishing or relying on them. Postcards are creative keepsakes, not verified records or travel advice.
Generated results may resemble other results. We do not promise uniqueness, copyright protection or that every intended use is free of third-party rights. You are responsible for checking that your use of a postcard is appropriate and lawful.
Original style skips AI image generation. Place and writing suggestions still use AI when requested. Our AI processing notice explains what is sent to the provider.
Respectful use
Do not use Postcarto to infringe rights, impersonate people, harass anyone, publish private information without permission or distribute unlawful content. Do not upload sexual exploitation material, threaten violence or use sharing links for spam.
Do not try to access someone else’s private memories, bypass account limits or security controls, disrupt the service or extract its credentials. Report content or security concerns through our contact details; Airmail postcards also have a report control.
Plans and creation limits
Your account shows its current allowance and reset date. Each new generated look or repaint uses a monthly creation slot, including unpublished artwork. A failed attempt retains its slot; retrying the same operation reuses it within that month. Deleting a postcard does not restore a creation.
Original photos, text suggestions, sharing and downloads do not use monthly artwork slots. Separate daily limits can still apply. Monthly allowances and extra credits expire at the monthly reset without rollover.
Subscription checkout is not currently available. A displayed plan or “coming soon” feature is not an order or a promise of availability. If paid subscriptions become available, prices, billing and cancellation terms will be presented before purchase. Print-at-home downloads do not include physical printing or postal delivery.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable service, but interruptions, errors and changes can occur, including when a provider is unavailable. Keep your own copies of photos and postcards that matter to you. Postcarto is not a permanent backup service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights. You remain responsible for your content and sharing decisions.
Ending use and resolving concerns
You can stop using Postcarto at any time and request account deletion through our contact details. You can delete individual memories and stop Airmail links in the app. Retention and copies held by others are explained in the Privacy policy.
We may restrict an account or remove content when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action. You can contact us to ask for a review.
Please contact us first if you have a concern. These terms do not prevent you from using any complaint process, court or other remedy available under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date above shows the latest revision. Where required, we will notify you of material changes before they take effect. Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
